FAQ

Questions we actually get asked

Grouped by topic. If yours isn't here, the fastest way to get an answer is the scoping call — it's free.

Pricing & Packages

Why do you publish prices when most SEO agencies say "contact us"? +

Because a real number, even a "from" figure, is more useful to you before a first call than a discovery process designed to extract your budget. We’d rather adjust a published floor than start from zero.

What’s the minimum commitment on a retainer? +

3 months, then monthly with 30 days’ notice to end. One-off engagements — the Audit and the AI Search Sprint — carry no ongoing commitment.

Is VAT included? +

No — all published prices are net; statutory VAT is added on the invoice.

Can we start small and add services later? +

Yes. Many clients start with the Audit & Roadmap or a single-language service and add Local SEO, International SEO, or AI Search Optimization once the foundation is solid.

Process & Delivery

What happens on the scoping call? +

We look at your site together, discuss what’s not working, and give you an honest view of whether we can help and roughly what it would cost. There’s no pressure to commit on the call itself.

Who actually does the work — you, or a team we never meet? +

Jonas runs every engagement personally — the audits, the technical fixes, the content strategy, and the reporting calls. There’s no account-manager layer relaying your questions to someone else.

How often will we hear from you? +

Retainer clients get a monthly reporting call at minimum (quarterly strategy reviews on the Scale tier); we reply to direct questions within 1 business day.

What if it doesn’t work? +

Retainers run a 3-month minimum term and then continue monthly with 30 days’ notice — you’re never locked into a long contract if the fit isn’t right.

Bilingual & International

Do you really write content independently in both languages, or translate one version? +

Independently, every time. This site itself is built the same way — genuinely localized English and German pages, not a translated mirror.

Can I get reporting in English even if the work is on a German-market site? +

Yes — reporting language is whatever suits you, independent of which market the work targets.

We already have separate German and English agencies. Can you take over both, or just coordinate? +

Either — some clients hand over both languages entirely; others keep an existing relationship for one market and use us to coordinate strategy.

Technical & Platforms

Which e-commerce platforms do you actually know? +

Shopware, Shopify, and WooCommerce, specifically — recommendations reference each platform’s real settings and known quirks, not a generic CMS checklist.

Can you work with our existing developer, or do we need to give you site access? +

We typically deliver a prioritized fix list your existing developer implements. Read access to the live site (and staging, where available) is enough for us to diagnose issues.

We have a migration or replatform planned — should we talk to you before or after? +

Before, if at all possible. Redirect mapping and technical setup done ahead of a migration is far cheaper than recovering lost rankings afterward.

Can you guarantee we’ll show up in ChatGPT or Google’s AI Overviews? +

No — no one credibly can, since these systems don’t publish their selection criteria. We apply the best current understanding of what makes content citable and report honestly on what was done.
